There are many benefits to nursing past a year--the immunities don't stop at one. My only goal was one year, and when we surpassed it, I kept thinking he'd be sick of it, and then another month would go by....I set my first goal at 15 months, then 18, then 21...haha, finally ISarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00214456605607882879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4315608385945418228.post-17633027858933368702009-10-05T20:28:28.229-05:002009-10-05T20:28:28.229-05:00Congrats on nursing so long! I think it's wonderful you were able to nurse him so long and give him the best nutrition possible! I can't wait to see what the new baby looks like! :)Morgan Owenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09327217122323599312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4315608385945418228.post-6713229179552812582009-10-04T19:45:09.581-05:002009-10-04T19:45:09.581-05:00Congrats!! A warning: when you nurse your newborn, be sure that you hold her like a newborn and are very careful about positioning. Sometimes moms get lax with that if they're nursing their second. Granted, my newborn had other issues, but even so, when I was more careful about position, it was less painful.Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13774558034963099447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4315608385945418228.post-29729859508492858132009-10-04T18:37:33.009-05:002009-10-04T18:37:33.009-05:00COngrats on a great job nursing, Mama! :-)COngrats on a great job nursing, Mama! :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4315608385945418228.post-8450100294314964412009-10-04T15:35:42.488-05:002009-10-04T15:35:42.488-05:00yay! sounds like it was stressfree for andrew too...yay! sounds like it was stressfree for andrew too!
