This just in...

Associated Press (Wis.): Little Andrew R*** slept in his crib all night long for the first time in almost 21 months. He was put down in his crib by his mother at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 17th. He fussed for about two minutes, before nodding off to the tune of his Baby Einstein aquarium crib toy.

The mother, Sarah, could hardly believe it when she woke up at 5:00 a.m. and noticed no visitor was in her bed. She went to check on him. "I was scared something happened to him", she stated, "but he was just sound asleep".

She took her shower and continued to listen for the cries of her toddler. She actually woke him up at 7:30 a.m. because she was afraid of possible milk leakage at work, since he normally feasts 2-3 times a night. "He was happy to have his beloved 'boo', but he didn't seem to notice that he spent the night in his crib instead of my bed". Even more surprising is the fact that the toddler had been nursing much more frequently due to a stubborn molar, the last of 20 teeth, has been working its way in for quite awhile.

Sarah wonders if this could possibly be a fluke, but she hopes she doesn't jinx it by talking about it. "Shhhh", she brings her finger up to her mouth, dismissing any further discussion.

Don't worry. I'm sure that he'll find a way to pay back a whole night's sleep... like wanting to catch the next all-night Godzilla marathon. Boys are silly like that.
