Memorial Day

I have more pictures, but I need to get them uploaded. This was the one I chose for my Project 365, so there you have it. Andrew is modeling one of his new outfits from Gymboree. The shirt says "Catch of the Day" in case you can't read it.

We had our annual family Memorial Day picnic today. It was so much fun! We have gone every year since my MOM was a little girl, so it's been going on for almost 50 years. Amazing. It's my grandpa's family, so there are 2nd and 3rd cousins there--great aunts and great uncles. It's a good time. It's a pot luck, but we don't eat until suppertime. There's a lot of activity during the day, including card games (I don't play those), softball games (most of the adults play; I am athletically challenged), kids running around, and just catching up with people.

We got there around 2:00 and Andrew ran pretty much the entire time. We didn't leave until 6:30, so do the math. Crazy! My boy has some crazy fast legs. I think he is a future track star.

Okay, so I said "crazy" eleventy billion times in this post--maybe that means I am?

He is getting so big!!!! What a cutie :)

That's a cool tradition that your family has.... we have something like that one the 2nd Sunday of every June, but it's in Lodi and I'm too far from Lodi so I haven't been going.

Ella's a freak of nature I've decided. I have no idea how she picks up the stuff she does... I can only think maybe it's her brother.

Thank you, Amanda.

I find it hard to believe our babies are almost TWO! :*( and :O)

LOL, yeah don't compare him to Ella. I always tell people...don't compare your kid to Ella, because she's not normal... your kid is!

My friend that lives here is just always in awe and has realized that she can't compare her little boy to Ella anymore.

It's funny because I look back at Jayden at Ella's age and he was NO WHERE near what she is... in fact she acts like him at almost 4. My kids are complete opposites.

that is lots of running! I think my kid is going to be a dancer or a singer, he hears music and he HAS to dance. So cute. He has started singing too. All jiberish, but still so cute.
